Pastor

Reverend Dr. Amos Williams, Jr.

Dr. Amos Williams Jr., a native of Amite, Louisiana, embodies the qualities of an empathetic and knowledgeable pastor. Married to Diana for 39 years, with two children and three grandchildren, he graduated from Southern University in 1978. He transitioned from a 27-year career in pharmaceutical sales to ministry, earning a Master of Divinity and a doctoral degree in expository preaching from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Called to ministry in 1993 and ordained in 1995, Dr. Williams has served at Liberty Hill Missionary Baptist Church for 18 years, known for his charismatic personality and dedication to spreading God’s word.

Diana Williams

First Lady Diana Williams is a cornerstone of the Liberty Hill Missionary Baptist Church community. As the supportive spouse of Pastor Dr. Amos W. Williams Jr., she plays a vital role in the church’s ministry. With a heart for service and a commitment to the church’s mission, Mrs. Williams is actively involved in various church activities and initiatives, providing guidance and encouragement to members while embodying the values of faith and compassion.

Dr. Amos Williams Jr., a native of Amite, Louisiana, is a caring and empathetic pastor. Married to Diana B. Williams for 39 years, they are blessed with two children and three grandchildren. He graduated from Amite High School in 1973 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Southern University in 1978.
Rick Griffin, Executive Pastor
Rick Griffin, Executive Pastor
Minister Griffin is dedicated to preaching and teaching biblical doctrine that strengthens and encourages believers. Originally from Norristown, PA, he has lived in the Atlanta area for over twenty years. Married to Shelia Griffin, he is the eldest of eight siblings, father of four, and grandfather of five. He finds joy in family time, reading, writing, and developing software.
Minister John Garret
Minister John Garret
Minister John Garrett, a lifelong member of Liberty Hill Missionary Baptist Church, was baptized here and has led faithfully for 25 years. Born in Marietta, he served as an Army Medical Specialist and now works locally. With his wife, Dorothy Ann, he inspires with his deep faith and commitment to God’s word.

Retired from Ann Arbor, Michigan, Minister Carlton Alexander was called to preach in 1990. Raised in the church and influenced by his mother's wisdom, his faith deepened through his military service and Beulah Heights University. He now serves as a “detailer of people” for the Lord.
Evangelist Patricia Kemp
Evangelist Patricia Kemp
Evangelist Patricia Kemp, a graduate of Pain College and DeVry Institute, has worked with the Social Security Administration for 27 years. Married to Deacon Reginald Kemp with three children and three grandsons, she has been a dedicated member of Liberty Hill Missionary Baptist Church since 1992, serving in numerous roles including teacher and youth director.

Minister Lewis Williams
Minister Lewis Williams, known for his charismatic “Superfantastic” style, accepted Christ at nine. A preacher’s kid from Detroit, he’s been ordained for over 20 years. Married to Shirley, with two children and a grandchild, he retired from Ford and Delta Airlines. His life, spared from a serious accident, reflects his faith and meditation on Revelation 3:20.
